Kennedy Arum started the company during his tenure as Officer ion charge of pest control operations in Mombasa company. While attending training courses for pest control course and management, Kennedy took interest in the insect side of pesticide applications. Kennedy decided to start Jopestkil Kenya in June of 2002. Kennedy resigned from his job of nearly 5 years in the pest control industry in 2007.
